| Adonai - One of the Names of God |
Adonai (a-doe-nigh) is the plural of a Hebrew word, adon, which means "lord." It is quite often used as a term of respect, but in most cases it means owner (as in landlord), master or superior.
Adonai is one of the many names for God. It means that He is our Lord and Master - we are His servants.
Do you know our Lord and Master, Jesus, personally? Salvation is not about religion - this denomination or that one - being good - doing good works - sitting in church - performing rituals. It's also not enough to believe that the Father and Jesus exist, because Satan and demons know He exists, but they're going to the lake of fire. It's about having a personal relationship with God.
The Word of God in Romans 10:10 found in the Amplified Bible says, "For with the heart a person believes (adheres to, trusts in, and relies on Christ) and so is justified (declared righteous, acceptable to God) and with the mouth he confesses (declares openly and speaks out freely his faith) and confirms (his) salvation." So to receive salvation, a gift of God's grace, believe in your heart and verbally say the following prayer:
The Sinner's Prayer of Salvation
Father God, I believe Jesus Christ is Your Son, the Savior of the world. I believe He died on the cross for me, and He bore all my sins. I believe Jesus was resurrected from the dead and is now seated at Your right hand. I need You, Jesus. I receive You by faith. Forgive my sins, save me, come to live inside me. I want to be born again. Amen.
